What can you anticipate when joining our team?

As a PM-04 Analyst, you will play an important role in developing and advancing our program by conducting analysis and interpreting requests under the Access to Information Act and Privacy Act. You will define and apply federal legislation in support of the ATIP Operations Program. You will help maintain excellent client relations by conducting negotiations and offering advisory services to both internal and external stakeholders. As an experienced team member, you will provide support and mentorship to junior staff. By performing in-depth document research and legal analysis to formulate well-informed recommendations, you will create a significant impact on our program’s mission and contribute to our democratic system.

Common tasks in this role

Successful candidates are required to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of cumulative experience of an appropriate level of complexity.

  • Interpreting and applying federal, territorial, provincial or municipal legislation.
  • Negotiating with or providing advice to internal or external stakeholders.
  • Researching and analyzing documents or case law in order to prepare recommendations.
  • Drafting briefing material and verbally briefing management.
  • Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
