DESCRIPTION:Newfoundland and Labrador’s International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) chapter is dedicated to bringing together local privacy professionals for development and networking opportunities. \nOur first event in a long time is scheduled for November 24th\, 12-2 pm.  We welcome back existing members and would like to extend the invitation to non-members as well. In an era of a data industrial complex\, the ability to collect private confidential information by governments\, health authorities\, corporations\, survey companies and social media platforms requires a duty to protect the information collected.
