It can be designed to resolve most disputes occurring in everyday personal and commercial matters efficiently\, effectively and fairly. It can be used to resolve disputes involving both lower and higher monetary amounts and disputes where relationships are of lesser or greater importance\, such as family disputes\, commercial disputes\, partnership disputes\, landlord and tenant disputes\, condominium disputes\, and many others.\nColm will give an overview of how med-arb can be used in dispute resolution with a focus on family disputes. \nColm Brannigan is a mediator\, med-arbitrator\, arbitrator\, coach\, and ADR trainer based in the GTA with an Ontario-wide practice. Colm has a solution-focused\, common-sense approach to conflict management and dispute resolution. He is recognized as a leading Canadian expert in the use of online dispute resolution (ODR) and in med-arb processes. Colm also provides ADR training and consulting services and is a regular writer on ADR topics and a frequent speaker on ADR at Programs/Conferences.
