SUMMARY:Special Event to Launch the 1949 Newfoundland Law Reports
DESCRIPTION:The S.S. Daisy Legal History Committee is pleased to announce a special event to launch the 1949 Newfoundland Law Reports (17 Newfoundland Law Reports). The Newfoundland Law Reports currently span from 1817 to 1948. Cases from 1949 to 1971 were not formally published. Cases after 1971 were published by the Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island Reports. Further volumes covering 1950 to 1971 will be published when complete. \nThis 1949 volume represents a new standard in legal case reporting\, featuring introductory essays\, annotations\, editors’ notes\, photographs\, artwork\, and other unique additions. \nWe look forward to welcoming you to this special event on 5 November 2024\, at 5:00 p.m. held on the 3rd floor of the Law Society Building. \nClick here to view the poster.
