Job Opportunity – Commissioner of Lobbyists
The Commissioner is responsible for investigating alleged violations of the Lobbyist Registration Act or the Lobbyist Code of Conduct, denying or canceling a lobbyist’s registration where the Act or Code has been breached, and ordering, upon application, that some or all registration information be kept confidential. The Commissioner may also recommend changes to the Code of Conduct.
The person appointed shall hold office for a term of five years and may be reappointed for further terms. The Commissioner of Lobbyists is a part time position and is required to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
