Opportunity: Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) Seeking Full Time Regional Member

The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) is an administrative tribunal, established under the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Act, which regulates and supervises Canadian broadcasting and telecommunications in the public interest, as well as enhances the privacy and safety of Canadians. The CRTC is now seeking a full time Regional member for the province of Quebec.

With the exception of decision-making responsibilities, Members report to the Chairperson. The incumbents’ duties include: participating in processes to establish rules, policies, and guidelines for licences and carriers; participating in public hearings and consultations; developing regulations; and participating in making Commission decisions.

The CRTC is committed to the principles of employment equity and to achieving a workforce that is representative of the Canadian population. We would like to encourage you to apply for this position before March 20, 2023, or to promote it within your network.
