Looking for Legal Assistants or Clerks?

The Law Society has received numerous inquiries from legal professionals that have been displaced by the war in Ukraine and are looking to start a new life in Newfoundland and Labrador. While most of these individuals do not possess the requisite credentials to practice law in the province immediately, their background and skillset may make them an ideal addition to your firm or organization as a legal assistant or clerk.

The Law Society is working with the Department of Immigration, Population Growth, and Skills to facilitate the relocation of individuals fleeing unimaginable circumstances and welcome them to our beautiful province. If your firm or organization has positions available, please contact Christian Hurley, Director of Admissions and Education.

Please see the below list of applicants for this program, including a summary of qualifications, and biographical information of the individual seeking articling placement.
