In response to the current Covid-19 pandemic, and further to the Court’s March 12, 2021 update, the Court of Appeal courtroom has been retrofitted with plexiglass partitions. Amplification microphones have also been installed better allowing this Court to offer in-person hearings safely and with excellent acoustics. With safety protocols in place, in-person hearings resumed on March 16, 2021 and will continue until further notice.

Effective Monday, April 5, 2021, the Court of Appeal Registry will re-open to the public. Hours of operation will be 9:00 am-1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm-4:30 pm.

Appearances by videoconference and teleconference remain available to parties, where necessary, upon request. Members of the media and the public may continue to observe hearings by videoconference or teleconference.
