The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the Young Leaders Committee of Ontario are hosting a nation-wide CPD asylum law webinar on October 19th. In addition to other asylum law matters, they will be discussing the effect COVID-19 has had on asylum law in conversation with UNHCR’s Representative in Canada, Rema Jamous and Matthew Brook, UNHCR’s Assistant Representation of Operations in Columbia.

Subject to local requirements, the webinar may be eligible for Continued Professional Development hours for legal professionals, and proceeds will be used to support UNHCR Canada’s work for refugees around the world.
