The Law Commission of Ontario (LCO) in cooperation with University of Ottawa Centre for Law, Technology and Society is pleased to bring you The ChatGPT Lawyer, a free one-hour webinar discussing the impact of the newest generative AI, ChatGPT, in the legal field.
Since its release in November 2022, ChatGPT has become a phenomenon. Industries and sectors across the world are beginning to consider the impact of ChatGPT and others forms of generative AI.
This webinar will discuss the opportunities and risks posed by ChatGPT and generative AI in the justice system. Topics discussed will include:
- what lawyers need to know about ChatGPT
- how ChatGPT can be used in legal practice
- ethical obligations to which lawyers must adhere
- opportunities and risks for access to justice
