RFNL has been invited to participate in a panel discussion on restorative justice organized by MHA Sheilagh O’Leary and the NDP Caucus. The event will take place on May 13 from 7:00–9:00 pm at The Hub, 21 Merrymeeting Road, St. John’s.
Restorative justice offers a different path forward, one rooted in accountability, healing, relationship, and community. This panel will explore how restorative justice can strengthen communities, support those most impacted by harm, and help build more just and equitable systems.
The conversation will bring together people with lived experience, frontline advocates, and community organizations who are advancing restorative justice in practical and meaningful ways. Panelists will share insights, challenges, and opportunities for change, with time for open discussion, questions, and shared dialogue at the end.
