The Chair of the Action Committee on Access to Justice / Comité d’action sur l’accès à la justice, Justice Karakatsanis, is coming to the island of Newfoundland for her Canadian listening tour.

The session will begin with opening remarks from Justice Karakatsanis, followed by a moderated discussion by Keri-Lynn Power, with panelists representing various perspectives within the legal community and organizations directly impacted by access to justice issues.
This is an interactive session ( the CBA-NL WANTS to hear from you), and topics will include barriers to access to justice in Newfoundland and Labrador, current challenges, and potential solutions and initiatives moving forward.
Panelists include representatives from PLIAN, civil litigation practice, Miawpukek Band, and Legal Aid.
