Humane Canada is proud to bring our biennial Canadian Violence Link Conference from November 8 to 9, 2023, as well as our ninth annual Prosecution of Animal Abuse Conference on November 10, 2023, online again this year, making it accessible to a national, possibly global, audience.
Some of the session speakers and highlights of this year’s conferences include:
Our Violence Link Conference brings together stakeholders in the areas of law, enforcement, behaviour, interpersonal violence, social services and animal welfare that work to prevent and address violence against people or animals for cross-sectoral training on how to collaborate and stop the cycle of violence. The Prosecution for Animal Abuse Conference gathers Crown Prosecutors, attorneys and allied professionals to share information and resources about animal cruelty and the Violence Link (the relationship between animal abuse and human abuse) in order to ensure that crimes against animals are prosecuted effectively and efficiently.
Registration is now open, and early bird rates are available until October 3rd. Bundle pricing for both events over three days is also available. You can learn more about the full conference schedule and speakers, and purchase tickets here.
