Kimberly A. Whaley, CS, TEP, LLM: Founding and managing partner of Whaley Estate Litigation Partners (WEL Partners), a Toronto-based dispute resolution firm practicing throughout Ontario. Kimberly specializes in Estate, Trust, Fiduciary, and Wealth Succession litigation, and related issues such as capacity, undue influence, and elder law. She is the recipient of the 2024 OBA Award of Excellence in Trusts and Estates Law.

Lynne Butler: An experienced practitioner from Butler Wills and Estates, discussing recommendations for advising elder clients, including recognizing key signals, adapting to their limitations, building trusting relationships, and documenting files to mitigate legal challenges.

Kevin O’Shea and Sara Hawkins: Representatives from PLIAN, contributing their expertise to this important conversation.
