The National Restorative Justice Symposium (NRJS) is now accepting presentation proposals for the 2025 event in Ottawa.
This year’s theme honors the journey of restorative justice in Canada—from its Indigenous roots to its expansion across justice systems, schools, academic institutions, and community programs. The organizing committee is seeking engaging, forward-thinking presentations that reflect on the progress made while exploring new directions for the future.
Presenters are encouraged to address themes such as:
Sustainability in restorative practices
Equity and inclusion
Community voice and accountability
Institutional change and innovation
