Meet Your Presenter

Krista Clendenning is a partner with Tradition Law LLP in Winnipeg, Manitoba, practicing in estate planning and estate administration. She has focused her wills practice on planning for family members of persons with disabilities. Krista is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Winnipeg. She earned her T.E.P. and became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2021. She is an active speaker on estates law topics, including for the local branch of STEP, the Manitoba Bar and the Canadian Bar Association. Krista is also a prolific writer, including for the Canadian Estates and Trusts Reports and Estates and the Canada Trusts and Pensions Journal. She is a past recipient of the Manitoba Bar Association’s Headnotes and Footnotes Award for her firm’s column on wills and estates decisions in MBA’s monthly newsletter. Finally, Krista lends her time as editor of the Manitoba chapter of the National Concordance, a reference guide for estate and succession law across Canada.
