Free Family Law Information Session – Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador Family Division
The Family Law Information Sessions offer assistance to individuals with or without a lawyer who wish to gain information about family law proceedings at the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador – Family Division.
The presentation covers helpful resources, outlines the steps in a court proceeding, and provides an overview of the legal principles judges apply in determining family law issues.

Available to any person who has an upcoming family law proceeding in the Court or who is considering commencing a family law proceeding in the Court.

PLEASE NOTE:
You are not permitted to attend a session unless your registration has been confirmed by the Court beforehand. Registration will be limited to 12 persons. The last day to register for this session is April 9, 2025.
If your registration has been confirmed, please arrive early to ensure you have enough time to pass through security screening and find where you need to go. The Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador is a Scent-Free environment. If you arrive wearing any type of scented product, you may be denied entry.
