The Complaints Authorization Committee counselled a member that entering into a creditor-debtor relationship with a client and failing to inform the client that the member is a director of the Company does not comply with the standard of conduct contemplated by Chapter VI, rule (b), commentary 4 and Chapter VII, commentary 4 of the Code of Professional Conduct.

The Complaints Authorization Committee counselled a member that the member’s conviction under sections 253(b) and 255(1) of the Criminal Code does not comply with the standard of conduct contemplated by Chapter I, commentary 3 and Chapter XIX, commentary 10 of the Code of Professional Conduct.
