Discipline Decision – 1997


Mr. Stack was found guilty of professional misconduct by Benchers pursuant to section 52 (1)(b) of the Law Society Act. The violation arose from Mr. Stack’s failure to conduct himself in a professional manner toward a member of the public and another barrister and solicitor.

Benchers ordered pursuant to section 52 (3)(a)(i) and section 57 (1) of the Act that Mr. Stack be reprimanded with respect to his conduct and pay the costs of the Law Society in the investigation and hearing of the complaint.
