The ABA Standing Committee on Public Protection in the Provision of Legal Services is conducting its triennial Survey of Lawyer’s Fund for Client Protection. This survey provides invaluable data about Client Protection Funds across the U.S. and Canada. The results of this survey inform Lawyers’ Funds of emerging trends and insights into the operation of CP Funds outside their jurisdiction and provides valuable data used to determine if the needs of the public are being met and identify where more resources and outreach may be needed. Your Fund’s response is greatly valued and much appreciated.

In this survey you will be asked to provide information about your jurisdiction’s Fund for the years 2020, 2021, and 2022. You will also be asked for general information about your Fund’s rules, processes, and procedures. The survey will ask for data regarding the number of claims, types of claims, and amounts awarded for each year. Please make sure you have access to that information before you start the survey. Please complete your response by July 31, 2023
