Indigenous Bar Association Hosting its 33rd Annual Conference on October 22nd and 23rd
The Indigenous Bar Association (IBA) is hosting its 33rd annual conference online on Friday, October 22nd and Saturday, October 23rd. This year’s theme is “Sharing Experiences Towards a Shared Future.”
Registration for the conference can be done online.
Speakers and panels will touch on topics like the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, transboundary Indigenous rights (post-Desautel decision) and the connection between Indigenous languages and Indigenous laws.
Anyone who registers for the October 22nd – 23rd conference will also get complimentary access to a continuing professional development day that the IBA is planning for November 12th.
