In 2018, the Parliament of Canada officially recognized October as Latin American Heritage Month in recognition of the significant contributions that Latin American communities have made to the social, economic, political and cultural fabric of Canada.

Canadians of Latin American descent enhance the cultural mosaic in Canada through their artistic and culinary traditions, as well as their numerous contributions to the overall prosperity of Canada through their entrepreneurial spirit.

Latin American Heritage Month is a great opportunity to discover the long and rich history of the many Latin American communities. We hope you join us in recognizing Latin American history and culture.
