Please be advised that on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, the service provider for pest control for the Provincial Court confirmed the presence of bed bugs and/or bed bug scent while performing a sweep of St. John’s Provincial Court, specifically, in Courtroom #10. While an exact date of when the bed bugs became present is unknown, the last negative sweep of Courtroom #10 was performed on October 15, 2021.

Treatment for bed bugs is being initiated and Courtroom #10 will not be used until the issue has been resolved.
