Family Mediation Canada is holding its annual AGM and conference on November 10, 2021. The theme for this year’s conference is The Power of Valuing all Voices and will be taking place over Zoom.

Registration is $129 and can be done by completing a form online and emailing it to admin@fmc.ca. Some of the topics covered and speakers include:

• “Families Finding Their Way Forward in Mediation, Child Protection Mediation” – Margaret Stewart Sweet;
• “The Elder Mediator’s Role in Combatting Ageism and Elder Abuse” – Judy M. Beranger;
• “How to Avoid Practical Pitfalls (and Ethical Quagmires) in Preparing Mediated Agreements” – Jennifer Hubbard; and
• “Discovering What Children Want to Tell Us: A Child Centred Approach for Family Mediators” – Jon Graham and Lorri Yasenik, Ph.D.
