Federal Survey for Lawyers on the Treatment of Survivors of Sexual Assault
In March 2024, the Office of the Federal Ombudsperson for Victims of Crime (OFOVC) launched a systemic investigation on how survivors of sexual violence are treated in the Canadian criminal justice system.
The following has been announced:
- stakeholder survey is now live, your participation is encouraged (10-30 minutes to complete)
- the deadline for the survivor survey has been extended, share your experience
- Written submissions are still being accepted.
All types of contributions will be accepted until February 16.
Your input is invaluable in shaping actionable recommendations to remove barriers and improve access to justice for survivors of sexual violence.
