Overview
William O’Keefe Law is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to work in a hybrid role as a corporate administrative assistant and receptionist. It is a permanent, full-time position. The ideal applicant will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team to provide client-centred service in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Answering and forwarding telephone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Data entry
- General clerical duties
- Drafting, scanning, photocopying, and organizing documents
- Maintaining organized physical and electronic filing systems
- Responding to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Opening files
- Assisting legal assistants and lawyers as necessary
- Other related duties as required
Education/Experience
- Administrative Assistant Certificate from a credited college
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a legal receptionist, experience with corporate law is considered an asset
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Exceptional administrative skills (proficient with MS Office)
