Now Hiring: Strategy & Innovation Advisor

Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director, Strategy & Innovation, the Strategy & Innovation Advisor will lead or support firm-wide strategy and innovation initiatives.

The successful candidate will collaborate with firm management, lawyers, clients, and other stakeholders to implement solutions that optimize processes and enhance service delivery. They will lead or support a variety of projects, including:

• Administrative process improvements
• Professional development initiatives
• Practice-related projects
• Client-specific innovation initiatives

Additionally, the Strategy & Innovation Advisor will:

• Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the firm
• Integrate change management principles into all projects
• Support the implementation of new technologies, including AI, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
• Monitor and evaluate technology effectiveness
• Develop and conduct training programs to ensure lawyers and staff are proficient in new technologies and processes
• Promote innovation initiatives internally and externally, increasing awareness among staff, lawyers, students, and business development prospects

Qualifications:

Assets:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree
• Experience in a law firm setting
