In line with the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador’s commitment to advancing Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples and following the recommendation of the Indigenous Education and Action Committee, we are pleased to offer the Indigenous Law Student Scholarship.

This annual scholarship aims to assist Indigenous law students pursuing a Juris Doctor degree, a Master of Laws degree, or a PhD in law. It will provide a one-time award of $5,000 each to up to three candidates. The deadline for applications is June 1 annually.
