May 17 – International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia
The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia recognizes the violence and discrimination experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex people, and all other individuals with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, or expressions, and sex characteristics.
This year’s theme, the power of communities, celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of LGBTQIA+ communities, honouring the wide spectrum of identities, experiences, and backgrounds that shape and strengthen our collective story.
May 17 is an opportunity to celebrate diversity and work toward equal rights and choices for all individuals. For more information, please click here.
