Supreme Court Notice: Change in Hours of Operation
SUPREME COURT OF NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR NOTICE TO THE PROFESSION AND GENERAL PUBLIC
CHANGE IN SUPREME COURT’S HOURS OF OPERATION
The Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador advises of a change in its hours of operation from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in its St. John’s locations beginning September 8, 2025. The change applies to both General Division and Family Division and will bring the St. John’s judicial centre’s hours into line with those of the other judicial centres in the province. The Court will be closed from 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. for lunch.
Appointments at the Court’s Registries in St. John’s can be made online by visiting https://www.court.nl.ca/appointments/.
Members of the public may attend a hearing unless there is a restriction on access to all or part of a proceeding.
