The Registry of Deeds notes that while paper submissions continue to be accepted, all members are strongly encouraged to transition to electronic submission of registrations. Electronic filing allows for immediate search access, whereas paper-based filings currently require approximately six business days from receipt to compliance review and entry into the Registry system.

Members that have not yet adopted the online system are asked to take steps to do so, as this will improve access to records and reduce processing delays.
