The Courts Administration Service (CAS) supports the Federal Court of Appeal, the Federal Court, the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada and the Tax Court of Canada by delivering judicial, registry, and corporate services at arm’s length from the Government of Canada. As part of the National Court Facilities Modernization Program, CAS is transforming courtrooms across the country to support in-person, virtual, and hybrid hearings, ensuring timely access to justice for all Canadians. A key part of this initiative is the Courtroom Technology Standard (CTS), a national framework for courtroom design and technology that emphasizes flexibility, accessibility, and innovation.
