Seeking Member Input: Engagement with the Judiciary

The Canadian Bar Association – Newfoundland and Labrador Branch (CBA-NL) is preparing for its upcoming meeting with the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Court.
For the past several years, we have continued to meet with the judiciary to maintain an open dialogue and bring forward concerns raised by our members.
Ongoing feedback has helped advance discussions on court administration, procedural efficiency, and access to justice. These discussions often require multiple conversations to make progress.
Our Advocacy Chair, Joe Thorne, and President, Megan Reynolds, will present your concerns and comments on your behalf.
As we prepare for this year’s meeting, we are once again seeking anonymous input on any issues, concerns, or opportunities you believe should be raised with the judiciary.
Please submit your feedback by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
You may provide your anonymous input by emailing your comments directly to Robyn at cba-nl@cba.org.
