You may recall that we sent a notice in August seeking expressions of interest from members in filling a vacancy on Benchers (Eastern District) created when Judge Fowler was appointed to the bench of the Provincial Court of Newfoundland and Labrador effective 8 August 2017.

We are pleased to announce that Benchers have appointed Rodney Zdebiak to fill this vacancy until June 2019, at which time Mr. Zdebiak can stand for election for a four year term.

We would like to thank all 26 members who expressed interest in the role.
