Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund – Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia
Did you know the Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia offers assistance to permanent residents and new Canadian citizens looking to upgrade their credentials to find work in their field, or a related field?
The Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund is a federally-sponsored program that provides microloans to assist permanent residents or new citizens acquire the training they need to pursue their career goals. This program covers all of Atlantic Canada, including Newfoundland and Labrador.
The AICLF is available to help pay registration fees, purchase books and other learning materials, cover tools and equipment, travel to out-of-area training, even assistance with living expenses while training. The loans, provided through our partner the Royal Bank of Canada, also help establish a strong credit history and deepen knowledge of Canada’s financial system.
