Butler Wills and Estates – Sharing an Articling Student

We have been asked by the law firm Butler Wills and Estates, to circulate the following information regarding possible interest in sharing an articling student.

Please see the below for further information and details.

***************************************************************

Butler Wills and Estates is interested in sharing an articling student with other firms beginning this spring. Because our practice area is limited, we would like to connect with other firms or sole practitioners who can offer a student robust articles on a rotational basis in one or more of the following subject areas:
– Criminal trial
– Real estate closing, including providing mortgage security
– Incorporation of a business
– Tort action and settlement
– Landlord and tenant
– Family law

We will involve the student in client interviewing, drafting of wills and related documents, drafting of trusts, probate procedures, estate administration, Deeds of Assent, adult guardianship procedures, estate dispute resolution, estate litigation (including research), and professional responsibility in all of these matters.

We anticipate that the firm at which the student spends a particular rotation will pay the student’s salary for that rotation.

Please get in touch with us by email at Chelsea@butlerwillsandestates.com or by calling Lynne Butler at 221-5511.
