Call for Applications: Rt. Hon Beverley McLachlin Access to Justice Fund
Applications are now open for the Rt. Hon Beverley McLachlin Access to Justice Fund (“McLachlin Fund”). Applications will be accepted until September 16, 2024.
The McLachlin Fund provides financial support for innovative projects and programs to improve access to civil and family justice in Canada. It prioritizes projects and programs that address a defined access to justice problem in a way that can be effectively evaluated and scaled-up or adopted elsewhere if successful.
Grants are between $25,000 and $100,000 per year for up to three years (for a maximum of $300,000 in total multi-year funding). This year, the available funding is $700,000.
Applicants must be either a registered charity or other qualified donees under the Income Tax Act.

To be considered, applicants must submit their application via the McLachlin Fund’s online portal no later than September 16, 2024.
