Did you know…Summer
That the Law Library has moved to a new Library catalogue? One of the requests made by Law Society members during the 2016 Law Library use survey was for a new catalogue with more functionality. You asked and we listened. The new catalogue will still be available through the Library pages on the Law Society website (https://lsnl.ca/library/), however, you will find more tools at your disposal. One of the exciting features of the new catalogue is the ability to see if an item is available for borrowing from the comfort of your office. If you have previously bookmarked our catalogue, please update your bookmarks to: http://17941.rmwebopac.com/
You might also notice some “construction” taking place at the Law Library over the summer. We are changing from the American call number system to the Canadian and this will involve rearranging our shelves. You will start to notice that all call numbers in the Law Library will now (or will be at the end of the project) start with the letters KF. This is being done to make the collection easier to browse and locate related topics. Please bear with us during the reorganization – you will find it worth it!
