Poole Althouse, the largest law firm on the West Coast of Newfoundland and Labrador, has an immediate opening in their Corner Brook office for an associate lawyer, practicing in the area of civil litigation.  The successful candidate will be working with a general practice firm that has been in business for more than 65 years and serves a broad, well-established client base.

The successful candidate will have good written and oral communication skills and be able to deal effectively with clients.  The candidate must also be comfortable with a team-based approach to addressing the needs of clients.

Previous experience would be an asset.  Salary will be commensurate with experience and will be in line with industry standards in St. John’s, NL.
