The Commissioners of the Inquiry Respecting The Treatment, Experiences and Outcomes of Innu in the Child Protection System invite Expressions of Interest from Members of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador for the position of Co-Counsel.

The Co-Counsel will be required to support the Commissioners in their pursuit and discharge of section 4(1) of their mandate, as set out in the Inquiry’s Terms of Reference, which are available publicly here: NLR 27/22 – Inquiry Respecting the Treatment, Experiences and Outcomes of Innu in the Child Protection System Order under the Public Inquiries Act, 2006 (assembly.nl.ca)

In order to be considered, Expressions of Interest must submitted via email to Brian Harvey at brianharvey@inniuna.ca no later than 5:00 pm on Friday, 01 March 2024.
