Funding Available for Professional Development Training
The Canada-NL Job Grant provides significant tuition assistance to eligible businesses and organizations to help offset the cost of training for their current and future employees. If you are a private sector employer, not-for-profit organization, Indigenous government or organization, incorporated, or a sole proprietor, you may be eligible. This program provides the skills and tools to enhance participants’ confidence and influence in their administrative roles. As a result, participants strengthen communications across all levels of their organizations and apply leadership strategies to better manage their varied responsibilities.
Developing a Compelling Business Case to Achieve Buy-In – Online May 02, 2024
A business case analyzes the outcomes of certain courses of action and is often presented as a well-written document or short presentation. Participants of this course will learn how to assess opportunities and risks, build the financial case, create the implementation action plan, and communicate the overall rationale for the new course of action to stakeholders.
Time Management and Workload Balance – In Person May 07, 2024
This course provides strategies and tools which can be used in the workplace to guide priority planning and workload balance. Participants learn practical skills to make the most of their day and achieve their goals.
Supervisory Management Skills Program: Managing Employee Relations – In Person May 13 – May 17, 2024
Participants will learn strategies on how to minimize interpersonal conflict, understand labour relations and improve the overall employee/ employer relationship through positive employee development.
Facilitation Skills for High-Impact Outcomes – In person May 22 – May 23 2024
Facilitation Skills teaches participants how to facilitate goal-oriented meetings and discussions through planning, collaboration, and consensus.
Managing Workplace Stress – Online May 29, 2024
