Gladue Reports in Québec: A Case Study

The Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador is hosting a free webinar on the Gladue Reports in Québec.

This webinar, which is the second in our series, will provide an overview of the use of the Gladue reports in Québec. The presenter will discuss the implementation of the current framework related to Gladue reports in Québec, the observed impacts of Gladue reports in the Québec justice system, strategies for overcoming obstacles and lessons learned.

The webinar will be presented by Lyne St-Louis. Lyne is a psychoeducator and a mediator in criminal, social and workplace matters. She is a trainer, writer and editor of Gladue reports and was in charge of the regional Inuit Justice Program in Nunavik from October 2014 to July 2018. In January 2014, Lyne also co-founded the First Peoples Justice Centre of Montreal.
