International Women’s History Month
Women’s History Month is a global celebration of women’s monumental contributions to history, culture, and society. Observed annually in March since 1987, many countries around the world celebrate with demonstrations and educational initiatives.
The National Women’s History Alliance designates a yearly theme for Women’s History Month. This year’s theme is Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories. This theme honors women in the past and present who have devoted their lives and talents to producing art, pursuing truth, and contributing to our communities decade after decade.
