Last Chance to Complete LSNL Articling Program Survey
Last Chance to Complete LSNL Articling Program Survey
Articling is a vital step for anyone who wants to enter the law profession. It allows prospective lawyers to apply their knowledge and lays the foundation for the competent practice of law so the public has faith in the legal system. As the regulatory body of the legal profession, it’s our duty to ensure articling programs meet the needs of the students, and ultimately, the public. That’s why our Education Committee is asking for your feedback.
We are requesting feedback from individuals who:
- Are currently serving articles as a student-at-law in Newfoundland and Labrador;
- Have been called to the Newfoundland and Labrador bar within the last five years; or
- Have acted, or are currently acting, as a principal to a student-at-law in Newfoundland and Labrador.
A survey is being distributed through SurveyMonkey to assess the effectiveness of our articling programs. The survey is completely anonymous and your data can only be used in aggregate and in limited ways in accordance with SurveyMonkey’s privacy policy.
There are separate surveys for both students-at-law and recent calls and principals.
Participation in the survey is entirely voluntary and the information collected is confidential. If you have any questions about the survey or about the collection of any data, please call Christian Hurley, Director of Admissions and Education, at 709-722-4898. The Education Committee thanks you for your participation in this important survey.
