On 21 September 2023, the Honourable John Hogan, KC, Minister of Justice and Public Safety and Attorney General announced the following appointments under the judicial application process established in 2016:

• Karen Rehner is appointed to the Provincial Court in Grand Bank
• Jennifer Standen is appointed to the Provincial Court in Happy Valley-Goose Bay
