Not So Risky Business Named One of the Best Legal Blogs of 2024
On December 31st, the 19th Annual Canadian Law Blog (Clawbie) Awards honoured the best online Canadian legal content from the past year. The Clawbie Judging Committee identified the top legal blogs, newsletters, podcasts, and other publications in the Canadian legal landscape. Included was the blog of the Canadian Lawyers Insurance Association (CLIA), Not So Risky Business. As noted by the Judging Committee:
Minimizing and managing risk is a necessary part of running a successful legal business, but it is not something most practitioners think about or act upon often enough. Canadian lawyers are fortunate to have access to Not So Risky Business, the blog of the Saskatchewan-based Canadian Lawyers Insurance Association. In its first year, CLIA’s blog (led by Melanie Hodges Neufeld and her team) covered topics such as cybersecurity risk, AI guidance, lawyer burnout, and many others in 66 informative posts.
The Canadian Lawyers Insurance Association congratulates the other recipients and recognizes Erin Durant, one of the regular blog contributors, who was also a recipient of the Best Legal Newsletters for her newsletter, Durant’s Rants.
The Clawbie Judging Committee’s selection highlights the valuable contributions to the legal field, with all recipients providing insightful content. Check out the other recipients in all categories for further legal insights at the Clawbie website.
