We regret to inform you of the death of Justice Fintan J. Aylward.

Passed peacefully away surrounded by his family in St. John’s in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 28, 2021, The Honourable Mr. Justice Fintan Joseph Aylward.

He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Ann, his children Geoffrey (Elaine), Gillian (Mark), Bruce (Elisabetta), Bradley (Gemma), Christopher (Suzanne) and Alison (Christen), as well as his twelve cherished grandchildren: Stephen (Aria), Erin, and Meaghan Aylward, Lauren, Kristian, and Bethany Stafford-Smith, Niccolo Aylward, Claire and Paul Andrew Aylward, Neria and Fintan Aylward, and Sophia Audet, as well as an extended family of nephews and nieces, and many friends, esteemed colleagues, and business associates.
