We are officially in Pride Season, a time to celebrate the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, acknowledge progress toward equality, and recognize ongoing efforts for acceptance and rights for all. The Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, through its Equity and Diversity Committee, is committed to diversity and inclusiveness. The legal community has played a pivotal role in advancing 2SLGBTQIA+ rights. We honour and empower those who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and recognize their struggles.

We invite you to participate in Pride events, support 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations, and reflect on our role in fostering an inclusive environment. By engaging, we demonstrate our commitment to justice and equality and celebrate the diversity that strengthens our society.
