Public Legal Information Association of Newfoundland Youth Justice Camp

The Public Legal Information Association of Newfoundland (PLIAN) is once again offering a Youth Justice Camp designed to educate young people about the legal system and careers in law. Participants will have the chance to meet professionals in various legal fields and go on field trips. They will also learn about the preparation for a criminal trial and participate in a mock trial at the Supreme Court.

This year, the Youth Justice Camp will be held in St. John’s from July 31 to August 2 at The Lantern (35 Barnes Road). The camp is open to youth aged 12-15 and runs daily from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. Snacks and lunch are provided, and the camp is completely free of charge.

To register, interested parties should contact the Youth Justice Camp Coordinator, Julianna, by email at julianna@publiclegalinfo.com or by phone at 709-722-2643.
