The current professional liability insurance policy for practising members expires on 30 June 2026. Before that date, you must report any potential issues of which you are currently aware that could, at any point in the future, give rise to an insurance claim against you.

If you believe you may have made an error in providing professional services, or if someone has made allegations against you (including allegations that may ultimately prove to be without merit), please complete the required New Claim Report Form and email it to Janice Ringrose, Insurance & Risk Manager, at insurance@lsnl.ca. This will ensure that the Lawyers’ Insurance Programme is placed on notice before the current policy year expires.

Remember, late reporting can compromise your coverage.
